The process of obtaining a Pass is divided
into two stages:
Stage 1 –
Approval (Stage 1)
In Stage 1, the company
will be required to submit online through our
e-Xpats system the application
for the employment of FKW. Approval
is given within three (3) working days from
the date of complete submission.
Stage 2 –
Endorsement (Stage 2)
Stage 2 requires submission
of passports and other relevant documents
to the Immigration Department of Malaysia for issuance
and endorsement of passes. This process
will take a minimum five (5) working days.
Types of Passes:
companies may employ any number of FKW (Expatriates).
The Qualifying Criteria's are:
or more years of professional working
experience in multimedia or information
and communication technology (ICT) business
or in a field that is a heavy user of
degree (any discipline) or a graduate
with a diploma in multimedia or ICT
from a technical college, plus two or
more years of professional working experience
in multimedia or ICT business or in
the field that is a heavy user of multimedia.

will also be given to FKW (Expatriates) who
do not meet the above criteria but are
to be employed by MSC Malaysia-status
companies categorised in the Creative
Multimedia and Shared Service industries.
